Waiting list FAQ
What is a waiting list?
A waiting list helps to manage the demand for availability in each of our classrooms. Once a classroom has reached the maximum allowed number, families are placed on the waiting list until an opening is available.
Do you have a waiting list?
Absolutely! We have waiting lists for all 9 of our classrooms. We also have waiting lists for the after school and summer programs.
How long are your waiting lists?
Depending on the classroom, waiting lists can extend a year or more.
I just found out I’m expecting. When do we need to get on the waiting list?
Give us a call to schedule a tour and place your name on the class list ASAP. Across our 3 infant rooms, we typically have 30-40 families waiting for an opening. Our newborn infant class for fall 2026 is officially full and our waiting list has begun.
Do you enroll new families throughout the year?
Most of our new enrollments correlate with our classroom moves. This is when our classroom capacities increase at certain age levels and new families can join us. Our open enrollment takes place each fall and spring. We’ll contact families on our waiting list first and then advertise if any openings remain.
How does your waiting list process work once a spot is open?
When a spot becomes available, we begin contacting families in the order they were placed on the list. We do try to give priority to siblings of current families.
Is it worth being on the waiting list if it is so long?
Definitely. Families can move away which opens a spot for a family on our waiting list. Sometimes families on our waiting list have found alternative care and no longer need a spot. We would then move on to the next family on the list (and that could be you).
If I’m on the waiting list and offered a spot, what if I don’t need it at that time?
You don’t have to accept it, but you will be removed from the list at that time. If you are interested in a spot in the future, you can call to be placed on the waiting list again. If you find a place that works great for your family and you no longer need to be on our waiting list, please let us know to remove you.
